About

Message from the Conference General Chair, and the Conference Executive Chair

Dear ICC 2025 Participants,

Welcome to the IEEE International Conference on Communications 2025 (ICC 2025)!

Since its inception in 1965, the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) has been the flagship event of the IEEE Communications Society, driving innovation across nearly every facet of communications technology. As one of the Society's two flagship conferences (ICC and GLOBECOM), ICC serves as a global platform for advancing cutting-edge communications research, industry trends, and technological development.

ICC 2025 will take place in just 5 days, from June 8 to June 12, 2025, at the world-class Palais des congrès de Montréal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, this state-of-the-art convention center offers a vibrant setting for our gathering. Montreal itself is a cultural hub, known for its dynamic arts scene, exceptional cuisine, and historic landmarks. As one of the most diverse cities in the world, it is home to over 120 cultural communities from across the globe, making it a truly international destination.

The theme of ICC 2025 is Communications Technologies 4Good, reflecting our shared commitment to using communications innovation to create positive, transformative impacts. This year’s conference will bring together thousands of global leaders in industry, academia, government, and policy. It offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, explore future trends, and identify emerging business opportunities. Whether you’re here to present, demonstrate, or simply learn, we hope you will gain invaluable insights into the latest developments and challenges in communications technology.

The ICC 2025 program strikes a strong balance between academia and industry participation. This year, the Industry Program has been expanded to include a range of exciting events such as Industry Executive Forums, Industry Panels, Presentations, Demos, Pitches, and an Exhibition.

The Industry Program, designed and developed in collaboration with leading industry experts, will showcase the latest advancements in global communications. This year’s program is centered on the theme of using technology to drive positive change. Key discussion topics will include:

  • The Future of Communications: Exploring emerging trends, technologies, and the next frontier in global connectivity.
  • Tech Solutions for Public Safety: Examining how communication technologies can enhance public safety, emergency response, and disaster management.
  • AI & Robotics Supercharging Telecom: Discussing the role of artificial intelligence and robotics in transforming telecommunications infrastructure and services.

These sessions will offer valuable insights into the most pressing challenges and opportunities shaping the future of communications.
